About
Growing up, I was always building - everything from bike ramps to tree forts. I attribute my early interest in building to my father who worked as a carpenter. As I watched and learned from my father, my interest in building only grew as I got older.
After high-school I decided to pursue a science degree at Saint Mary's University - due to my interest in math, physics, and engineering. After completing my degree I decided to enroll in the Architectural Drafting program at Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) to explore my interest in architecture. This was when I had that 'light bulb moment' and knew I made the right choice.
I started working for an architecture firm shortly after graduating from NSCC. Then after gaining several years of experience, and completely several continuing education courses. I started doing small drafting jobs on the side. Over the years this little hobby started to grow, and that is how JW Clarke Drafting & Design was created.
